CATERING SERVICE FOR THE REGIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING

EMPOWERING YOUTH ACROSS ASEAN

17 – 23 FEBRUARY 2020, BANGKOK, THAILAND

BACKGROUND

The ASEAN Foundation will be organising The eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN (EYAA) that brings around 100 participants from ASEAN countries to Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand from 17 February 2020 to 23 February 2020. As the organiser, the ASEAN Foundation is now seeking a caterer to provide high-quality catering services with reasonable prices for the event.

The caterer is expected to meet special dietary requirements for some participants, including options for vegetarians, halal food, seafood allergy, etc. It is also expected to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as two coffee/tea breaks during the duration.

We would like to invite you to join the tender process by submitting your proposal. Please refer to the requirements below before applying.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Suggested recommendations to provide the cost per person is as follows:

• Breakfast (meals box): Rice and bread, two proteins, two vegetables and fruits, beverages including water. Breakfast need to be ready at 7.00 am
• Lunch (buffet): Appetizer/salad, soup, rice, three proteins (seafood/chicken/beef), at least two vegetables, at least two fruits, dessert, beverages including water
• Dinner (buffet): Appetizer/salad, soup, rice, three proteins (seafood/chicken/beef), at least two vegetables, at least two fruits, dessert, finger-food snack beverages including water
• Dinner (meals box): Rice and bread, two proteins, two vegetables and fruits, beverages including water
• Coffee/tea breaks (buffet): Two different types of snacks (sweet and savoury), beverages (coffee and tea, cold beverage (juice)
• Free flow of water
• Mineral waters for the participants during the training at the training venue
• The rate offered is the nett price

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Halal catering based in Bangkok is preferred
2. Experienced in handling large group in the international event
3. Being able to provide a menu for specific dietary requirements: vegetarian, seafood allergy, among others
4. Provide round table (half-moon setting), clothing, and decoration
