Graphic Design Consultant for AFMAM Plus Australia 2024 and ASEAN-Korea Influencers Project

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Graphic Design Consultant for AFMAM Plus Australia 2024 and ASEAN-Korea Influencers Project

BACKGROUND

Three decades after the establishment of ASEAN, its leaders identified ongoing challenges in achieving shared prosperity, fostering ASEAN awareness, and enhancing interactions among its people. To address these issues, the ASEAN Foundation was established during ASEAN’s 30th Anniversary Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 15 December 1997. The ASEAN Foundation, an organisation from and for the people of ASEAN, aims to build a cohesive and prosperous ASEAN Community. It supports ASEAN by promoting awareness, identity, interaction, and development among the region's populace.

The ASEAN Foundation, with support from its partners, will be organising two youth-related projects in the next six months. The first project is the ASEAN Foundation Model ASEAN Meeting (AFMAM) Plus Australia 2024. Supported by the Australian Government through the Australian Mission to ASEAN, this programme invites students from the ten ASEAN countries, Australia, and Timor-Leste to participate in an immersive conference. Through role-play and capacity-building training, students will learn about ASEAN diplomacy and ASEAN-Australia relations.

The second initiative is the ASEAN-Korea Youth Influencers Project (ASEAN-Korea YIP), supported by the Republic of Korea Mission to ASEAN. This project engages young creators from ASEAN and Korea to highlight the strengths of the ASEAN-Korea partnership while promoting Korea as a Global Pivotal State that empowers youth to foster regional peace and stability.

To enhance the promotion and outreach efforts, including the creation of digital and printed collaterals for both initiatives, the ASEAN Foundation is seeking to hire a skilled graphic design consultant for the duration of both projects.
