Ninik Rahayu

Head of Operations

Ninik Rahayu was appointed as the Head of Operations of the ASEAN Foundation in February 2020. Prior to joining the organisation in 2018, Ninik has worked for different types of organisations. They were Save the Children Federation Inc. (known as Save the Children USA), Research Triangle Institute, Wildlife Conservation Society and HIV Corporation Programme in Indonesia. Aside from behind-the-desk work, Ninik had international field experiences. She was assigned to Save the Children USA Head Quarter in 2007 to assist year-end audit during tsunami emergency response, to Haiti in 2010 during earthquake emergency, to Ethiopia and Bangladesh in 2012 during the transition from Save the Children USA to Save the Children International.

Ninik graduated from Universitas Negeri Surakarta (UNS) with a Bachelor’s degree from Economics Faculty majoring in Economic Development. With 14 years of experience, Ninik has good knowledge in finance, accounting, grants, budget and good skills to operate several accounting softwares (Sun System integrated with GMS, SAP Business One, QuickBooks and Agresso). Ninik is also experienced in managing funding from various donors such as USAID, US Federal Agency (Department of Labor), European Union, AUSAID, other international organisations and profit companies.
